Ijtihad and the Iranian position on nuclear weapons

At the end, it should be stressed that the Leader of Revolution as the highest and most influential mujtahid of the Islamic Republic has declared the use of nuclear weapons to be haraam and the very same fatwa is the root cause of Islamic Republic of Iran’s decisions, at domestic and international levels, on non-military usage of nuclear energy.
